Public Lecture Series “Coastal Research in Schleswig-Holstein” in the winter term 2016/17

CAP 3 / lecture hall 3 / Wednesdays 6 pm - 8 pm

The aim of the series of events is to provide an overview of the current knowledge of coastal research in Schleswig-Holstein. How well do we know and understand our coasts today? How are they changing? What ecosystem services do they provide? What is threatening our coasts? What does this mean for Schleswig-Holstein with regard to questions concerning the maritime economy as well as for coastal and sea protection?

To answer these questions we invited experts from science, politics, business and society, who will contribute their perspectives and expertise. Please note that the lecture will be held in German.
