Masterseminar: Identity and Subjectivity in Global Politics (Module: MR-3, MR-4 und IPIR-3) (200079)
Inhalt
Identity and subjectivity play an increasingly important role in world politics, be it in national, religious, security, environmental or economic discourses. The seminar will introduce some of the most important philosophical and sociological discussions on identity and difference. It will also critically reflect widely discussed International Relations (IR) theory work on identity, while part three will debate identity issues in global politics. Among others, European, Asian and particular foreign policy identities will be focused here. Requirements: oral presentation & research paper (due March 31, 2017).
